About the Opportunities

Foremost Universal LP (FULP) requires a Senior Purchaser to work out of their Lloydminster location.

In this dynamic and challenging role, and adhering to corporate policies and procedures, you will be responsible for coordinating the procurement activities within Foremost Universal LP. Specifically, this will involve managing and controlling the purchasing activities including bid preparation, as well as reviewing, awarding and sourcing/expediting materials to meet code and design specifications.

You will also:

• Assist and lead corporate strategic purchasing initiatives;
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships;
• Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in the purchasing and distribution of materials;
• Concise and accurate administration of required documents surrounding the procurement process; and
• Provide support for our estimating/manufacturing and inventory functions.

Along with previous purchasing/inventory experience, you are well equipped with strong interpersonal and communication skills and working knowledge of industry and products. A post-secondary education and enrolment in a professional purchasing designation would be considered a definite asset.
