About the Opportunity

Due to expansion, Foremost Industries is looking to hire Hydraulic Specialists for their shop in Calgary, Alberta.

Working within the workshop you'll be covering the entire spectrum of hydraulic pump and repairs in closed and open loop systems.The role involves assembling, maintaining and servicing any hydraulic related needs of the organization.

More specifically, the Hydraulic Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Working without direction to more complicated verbal instruction, hydraulic diagrams, and schematics etc.;

  • Installing, assembling or repairing any hydraulic motors, drives or pumps, including assisting in hosing and testing of these components, in any type of vehicle or rig;

  • Assembling components to quality required;

  • Troubleshooting hydraulic issues on new or used equipment and assisting Field Service in carrying out field repairs, including offering hydraulic expertise to Service Reps; and

  • Assisting less experienced personnel with work methods, work habits and performance.

To be considered for this position you must have certification from a recognized training facility, or can effectively demonstrate your skills in the above areas.

The successful Hydraulic Specialists will be reliable, well organized people who can also be trusted to work unsupervised when required.Most importantly, they will be enthusiastic 'go getter's with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.

If you have high attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines, this is the role for you!Candidates must possess the complete line of tools necessary for all phases of mechanical and hydraulic assembly; and a large tool box with slide out drawers to allow fast and easy accessibility.
