Project Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with to join the Unison Construction team in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

Unison Construction Management Ltd is one of British Columbia’s most respected and fastest growing Commercial Design and Construction Management companies.

In this role, you will support the project management and finance departments by performing various Timberline administrative functions for our projects and organization. This will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely job management by entering subcontractor, job structure, cost estimate, and project management information into the system;
  • Providing project review throughout the duration of the project;
  • Supporting the General Manager by creating job binders and following up with Superintendent tasks;
  • Assisting accounts payable/receivable to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and billing, including liaising with vendors and clients when required;
  • Maintaining and verifying subcontractor invoices;
  • Assisting with internal/external audits;
  • Creating construction project summaries; and
  • Performing various tasks associated with the closing of a job including reconciling vendor statements, tracking pending commitments, evaluating status and possible resolutions and creating documentation to satisfy commitments.
In addition to being highly organized, methodical and solutions focused, you will have 1-2 years of experience working in the construction industry and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, and the project management and cost modules of Timberline. Previous experience working on tenant improvement/commercial projects is an asset.  
The ability to work independently, project coordination experience within the construction industry and excellent communication skills are all essential.
